พี่น้องแทบไม่คุยกัน แต่ในวันแต่งงานของโอบอุ้มกับเจ้าบ่าวชายหนุ่มมหาเศรษฐี เธอมาเอ่ยปากขอร้องพี่สาวฝาแฝดในเรื่องที่ค่อนข้างประหลาด …. ขอให้ช่วยไปบอกเลิก ‘แฟน’ ให้หน่อย เธอมาแต่งงานแบบที่ยังไม่ได้บอกเลิกแฟนที่คบกันมาพักใหญ่อย่างเป็นเรื่องเป็นราว
ไออุ่น อาจจะไม่ทำสิ่งนี้ให้ ถ้าไม่ใช่เพราะคืนนั้นเอง โอบอุ้มและเจ้าบ่าวประสบอุบัติเหตุ ด้วยเหตุผลในใจหลายๆ อย่างเมื่อเห็นน้องสาวอยู่ในอาการโคม่า ไออุ่นเลยตัดสินใจทำสิ่งที่น้องขอร้องไว้ เธอไปพบแฟนของน้องสาว เพื่อที่จะค้นพบว่า ‘เม’ ที่ว่านั้นคือผู้หญิง และเธอตาบอดอยู่
ไออุ่น ทั้งนึกสงสาร และใจเต้นแรงกับความสวยของคุณทนาย นอกจากจะไม่ได้บอกเลิกแล้ว ยังเฟลอไผลสวมรอยไปปฏิสัมพันธ์กับสาวเจ้าเข้าอีก แล้วหลังจากนั้นก็มีเรื่องวุ่นวายต่างๆ ตามมามากมาย
ด้วยความเห็นส่วนตัว…. เราคิดว่านิยายเรื่องนี้มีปัญหาใหญ่ๆ อยู่ 2-3 เรื่องค่ะ
เรื่องแรกคือ มันมีไอเดียที่เซ็ทไว้เต็มไปหมด แต่พาไปไม่ถึง… ทั้งไอเดียเรื่องราวกึ่งสืบสวนสอบสวน ที่เอาเข้าจริงก็ประกาศโพล่งทุกอย่างออกมาเองโต้งๆ ตั้งแต่ต้นเรื่อง ไอเดียเรื่อง อยากให้ เมธาวี คุณทนายในเรื่องเป็นนางเอกฉลาดๆ ก็ไม่ได้มีอะไรพาความเชื่อขนาดนั้น นอกจากการบอกเล่าว่าเธอเป็นทนายที่เก่งมาก หรือการรู้ทันสิ่งที่ก็ไม่ถึงกับซับซ้อน
มันไม่กลมกล่อม มันขาดเกิน มันต้องออกแรงผลักแบบแปลกๆ ในหลายช่วง มันมีผลต่อความเพลิดเพลินในการอ่านมากอยู่
อย่างที่สองคือ มันไม่มีตัวละครที่ชวนรักสักเท่าไหร่ ซึ่งจริงๆ เป็นโจทย์สำคัญของนิยายรักๆ ซึ่งไม่ได้หมายความว่าตัวละครจะต้องดีผ่องแผ้วนะคะ แต่อย่างน้อยเราต้องได้เห็นความเป็นมนุษย์ที่อาจจะมีทั้งดีทั้งเลวในตัวเค้า เราอาจจะไม่ได้เห็นด้วยแต่ก็เข้าใจและเอาใจช่วย เหมือนหลายๆ อย่างมันไม่พาไปสู่สิ่งนั้น จากเรื่องราวพฤติกรรมที่ไม่สมเหตุสมผล การให้น้ำหนัก การหย่อนสถานการณ์และอื่นๆ
เรื่องสุดท้ายคือ เหมือนจุดเหยียบคันเร่งทุกอย่างในเรื่องคือการเอาสถานการณ์ Toxic ทั้งหลายมาเรียงร้อยกันเป็นช่วงๆ แบบที่น่าเอามาจัดวงพูดคุยเลยว่ามีอะไรอยู่ในเรื่องบ้าง ยืนยันอีกรอบว่าเรื่องราว Toxic เป็นสิ่งที่มีอยู่จริงในโลกใบนี้ค่ะ แต่ในฐานะชิ้นงานศิลปะ มันมักจะมีท่วงท่าในการอธิบายบางอย่างที่ทำให้เราเข้าใจที่มาที่ไป ถ้าไม่มีมันก็จะแค่เห็นปรากฏการณ์ของพฤติกรรมที่เป็นพิษแบบยาวๆ ไป แล้วค่อยมาตัดๆ รวบสรุปหาที่ลง
ราวกับว่าการเน้นย้ำบ่อยๆ ว่า ความรักมันไม่ต้องมีเหตุผลหรอก ในเรื่อง เป็นการพยายามบอกคนอ่านว่า อย่ามาหาเหตุผลอะไรกับพฤติกรรมตัวละครที่ไม่สมเหตุสมผลนักเลย
ด้วยความจริงใจ…. เราเชื่อว่าตัวเองมีใจให้นิยายยูริเป็นอย่างมาก พร้อมจะเอาใจช่วย พร้อมจะจิ้มซื้อแบบไม่คิดหน้าคิดหลัง อยากสนับสนุนให้มีนักเขียนนิยายยูริเยอะๆ แต่กับเรื่องนี้ นึกลุ้นให้เวอร์ชั่นซีรี่ส์ซ่อมดีๆ แก้ดีๆ ทั้งฝั่งแมสเสจ ทัศนะ และการร้อยเรียงเรื่องเลยค่ะ ไม่งั้นจะเสียดายมากเลย

“I-aoun and Ob-oum are middle-class twin sisters who grew up with numerous scars and conflicts between them.” Ob-oum seemed to have a brighter future, having completed her studies and working as an air hostess to support herself and her family. I-aoun, on the other hand, was less ambitious, had no job, and appeared to be aimless in life.
Until Ob-oum married a wealthy man, the sisters rarely spoke to each other. She approached her twin sister, I-aoun, at the wedding, with an unexpected request. She begged I-aoun to help her in breaking up with her ‘lover,’ as she had been in a long-term relationship with someone else.
I-oun might not have agreed to this if it hadn’t been for an incident involving Ob-oum and her groom that night. I-aoun decided to meet her sister’s request for lots of personal reasons. She met Ob-oum’s partner and discovered that ‘May,’ as she was known, was a sight-handicapped woman.
I-aoun was both empathetic and attracted by Me’s beauty, and she’s not assisted in breaking up the relationship and also became connected with her. This resulted in a slew of issues and experiences.
There are several fundamental flaws with this narrative, in our opinion:
To begin, the story appears to have plenty of concepts but falls short in execution. At the start, the mystery and investigation aspects are relatively superficial and abruptly exposed. Aside from being portrayed as highly talented, the character of Methavi, a brilliant lawyer, receives little development. It lacks substance and falls short, reducing the enjoyment of reading.
Second, there are no characters to root for in the plot. Characters who are relatable, even if they have flaws, are crucial in a romance tale. While we do not have to agree with them, we should understand and sympathize with them. The story does not do an adequate job of transporting us there.
Finally, it appears like everything in the novel has been jammed into a flurry of hazardous scenarios. While toxic relationships exist in the real world, there is sometimes a need for balance and sensitivity in communicating such characteristics in a work of fiction. It’s as if the novel is trying too hard to show that love doesn’t require an explanation, rather than allowing the characters’ actions and behaviors to speak for themselves.
To summarize, I love to support the Yuri genre, but there is still room for growth. To make it more interesting and fulfilling for viewers, it may benefit from a better-crafted series with well-thought-out characters and more nuanced handling of the poisonous elements.”
