สำหรับคนที่ไม่ใช่นักอ่านนิยายยูริ (นิยายหญิงรักหญิง)  Zezeho คือนามปากกาของนักเขียนนิยายแนวนี้ที่มีชื่อเสียง มีผลงานนิยายออกมากว่า 30 เรื่อง และเรื่องที่เป็นที่รู้จัก ถูกพูดถึง ได้รับคำชมมากที่สุดในตอนนี้คือ  ดาวบริวาร และอยากบอกว่า หลังอ่านจบเราไม่แปลกใจเลย เป็นนิยายที่ควรค่ากับคำชื่นชมเป็นอย่างยิ่ง 

ดาวบริวาร เป็นนิยาย โรแมนติก-ดรามาติก-แฟนตาซี ที่แบ่งสัดส่วนของทั้ง 3 อย่างนี้ได้เท่าๆ กันอย่างน่าประหลาดใจ และไม่ใช่แค่เท่า ทำได้ดีทั้งสามส่วนซะด้วย

‘จัตวา’ เด็กปี 1 คณะนิติศาสตร์ของมหาลัยชื่อดัง มีชีวิตที่ยากลำบากมาก  ไม่มีครอบครัวดูแล ดิ้นรนทำงานพิเศษหารายได้ และพยายามตั้งใจเรียนเพื่อชีวิตที่ดีขึ้น เรื่องดีๆ ในชีวิตเธอมีอยู่แค่สองอย่างคือ เธอมีพลังพิเศษควบคุมและย้อนเวลาได้วันละครั้ง ครั้งละ 10 นาที  และเธอมี วีวี่ น้องสาววัยมัธยมผู้มีพลังหยั่งรู้อนาคตแบบภาพนิมิตแว๊บไปแว๊บมาเป็นความรักความผูกพันธ์ของชีวิต

ในขณะที่ ‘พี่โฟร์’ รุ่นพี่ปี 4 คณะบริหาร มาจากครอบครัวที่ร่ำรวย แต่ความสัมพันธ์ของเธอกับผู้คนในชีวิตแย่มาก ครอบครัวเธอมีปัญหาแบบอยู่ด้วยความเกลียดชังหยั่งรากลึก ชีวิตที่ผ่านมามีเพื่อนสนิทก็ทำร้ายกัน แพชชั่นเดียวในชีวิตอย่างการเป็นนักกีฬาก็โดนทำลายเละเทะ  มีชีวิตอยู่อย่างปิดกั้น โดดเดี่ยว และโดนเข้าใจผิดเยอะทีเดียว 

แต่เมื่อจัตวา กับพี่โฟร์ เริ่มพัฒนาความสัมพันธ์กัน มันเป็นพาร์ทโรแมนติกที่น่ารักมาก เป็นเด็กที่พยายามโตเป็นผู้ใหญ่พยายามเข้มแข็งแต่ข้างในยังเปราะบางสองคนที่พึ่งได้มาเจอกับสิ่งที่เรียกว่าความรักกันทั้งคู่  ความทรหด อดทน อยู่เคียงข้าง หวังดี มั่นคง ของเจ้าพวกเด็กมีแผล แน่นอนว่ามันซื้อใจพวกคนอ่านที่เชื่อในรักแท้ (อย่างเช่น เรา )  ในแบบที่ไม่มีพื้นที่จะคิดว่ามันโลกสวยไม่เป็นจริง  เพราะสองคนนี้มันเจอเรื่องหนักหนาสาหัสเหลือเกิน วิกฤติแต่ละครั้งมันคือความสูญเสียที่เป็นความเป็นความตาย  ทำเอานึกถึงประโยคจากซีรี่ส์เรื่องหนึ่งที่บอกว่า พอเทียบกับความตายแล้วความโกรธเกลียดมันก็เล็กนิดเดียว 

ในขณะที่พาร์ทแฟนตาซี ก็ทำได้ลึกเกินคาดค่ะ เราคิดว่าความยากของพล็อตแฟนตาซีเวลาๆ แบบนี้มันคือการเซ็ทติ้งกฏเกณฑ์ของสิ่งนั้น การเอามาใช้ประโยชน์และการหาทางลง ซึ่งดาวบริวารก็ใช้เวลาคลี่คลายจัดแจงบทสรุปไปค่อนข้างเยอะทีเดียวในช่วงท้ายๆ ที่เราคิดว่ามันหนืดๆ นิดหน่อย แต่เข้าใจได้ว่าทำไมถึงไปทางนั้น และอย่างที่บอก โดยภาพรวมทำได้ดี 

ตัวละครหลักของดาวบริวารมีภูมิหลังแน่นปึัก มีแรงขับต่อการกระทำชัดเจน แต่ชะตากรรมหนักหน่วงสู้ชีวิตกันมาก ต้องขอบคุณบรรยากาศโรแมนติก และจังหวะคอมเมดี้ที่มีหยอดมาไว้ให้แบบพอหายใจหายคอได้ 

ถ้าจะให้สรุปแบบไม่ใช่การเล่าเรื่องย่อว่า ดาวบริวาร พูดถึงอะไร …. เราคงบอกว่า มันคือการพยายามรักษาความสัมพันธ์ที่สำคัญในชีวิตของตัวเองไว้ ด้วยความรัก การเสียสละ เท่าที่คนคนหนึ่งจะสามารถทำได้ ไม่ว่าจะมีพลังพิเศษหรือไม่ก็ตาม 

For those who are not regular readers of Yuri (girl’s love) novels, Zezeho is the pen name of a famous author in this genre with over 30 published works. Currently, their most well-known, discussed, and highly praised novel is ‘Reverse 4 you’ (ดาวบริวาร). After finishing it, I’m not surprised at all – it’s a novel truly deserving of the praise.

‘Reverse 4 you’ is a romantic-dramatic-fantasy novel that surprisingly balances these three elements equally. And it’s not just balanced – it excels in all three aspects.

‘Jatawa’, a first-year law student at a prestigious university, has a very difficult life. She has no family to care for and struggles to earn money through part-time jobs. She also tries hard to study for a better future. There are only two beneficial things in her life: she has a special power to control and rewind time once a day for 10 minutes, and she has Vivi, her high school-aged sister with the ability to glimpse the future in brief visions, who is the love and connection of her life.

Meanwhile, ‘P’Four’, a fourth-year business student, comes from a wealthy family, but her relationships with people in her life are terrible. Her family has deep-rooted hatred issues, her past close friendships ended in betrayal, and her one passion in life—being an athlete—was completely destroyed. She lives a closed-off, isolated life and is often misunderstood.

However, when Jatawa and P’Four begin to cultivate a relationship, it transforms into an incredibly sweet romantic moment. They are two young people attempting to be adults, trying to be strong but still fragile inside, both experiencing love for the first time. Their perseverance, patience, support, good intentions, and steadfastness—typical of wounded individuals—undoubtedly win over readers who believe in true love (like me) in a way that leaves no room to think it’s unrealistically idealistic. This is because these two have been through extremely difficult situations, with each crisis involving life-or-death losses. It reminds me of a quote from a series that says, ‘Compared to death, anger and hatred seem so small.’

The fantasy part is surprisingly deep. I  think the challenge of time-travel fantasy plots like this lies in setting the rules, utilizing them, and finding a resolution. ‘Reverse 4 you’ spends quite a bit of time unraveling and arranging the conclusion towards the end, which I found a bit slow, but understandable why it went that way. Overall, it’s well done.

The main characters of ‘Reverse 4 you’ have solid backgrounds and clear motivations for their actions, but their fates are incredibly challenging. I’m  grateful for the romantic atmosphere and the sprinkled moments of comedy that allow me  to breathe.

If I were to summarize what ‘Reverse 4 you’ is about without giving a plot summary… we’d say it’s about trying to preserve the important relationships in one’s life through love and sacrifice, as much as one person can do, whether they have special powers or not.”
