อนิล เป็นเด็กเจ้าเสน่ห์ ยิ้มสวย ใจดี บุคลิกดี หน้าตาดี เท่ๆ คูลๆ ในขณะที่คุณปิ่น (แน่นอนว่าสวยมากเช่นกัน) เป็นกุลสตรี เรียบร้อย ร้องไห้ง่าย ทั้งสองคนก็เป็นแบบนี้มาตั้งแต่เด็กจนโต
ปมเหตุแรกๆ ของเรื่องมาจากการต้องห่างไกลกันเพราะอนิลต้องไปเรียนที่ต่างประเทศ กลับมาก็มีเรื่องการพัฒนาความสัมพันธ์ที่ติดนู่นขัดนี่กันนิดหน่อยของทั้งคู่ แล้วก็แน่นอนว่าเลยไปถึงเรื่อง ความผิดถูก ที่ผู้หญิงสองคนจะรักกัน โดยเฉพาะเมื่อมีแวดวงยศฐาบรรดาศักดิ์มาเกี่ยวข้อง
ถ้าโดยรสชาติแล้วปิ่นภักดิ์เหมือนขนมหวานเลยค่ะ ขนมไทยประดิษฐ์ประดอย กินเพลินอ่านเพลิน ตัดเค็มนิดหน่อยด้วยรสน้ำตาคุณปิ่น (นับจากต้นเล่มแรกจนจบเล่มท้าย คุณปิ่นร้องไห้ไปสัก 20 ลิตรได้)
การมีฉากหลังย้อนยุค (เข้าใจว่าน่าจะเป็นช่วงรัชกาลที่ 7 หรือ 8 ของไทย) เป็นกิมมิคเอาไว้โชว์ของสวยๆ งามๆ ได้ดี ท่านหญิงอนิล เป็นตัวละครที่ถูกสร้างมาเป็น Princess Charming ในทุกมิติ ให้เป็นที่รักของทุกคนทั้งในเรื่อง และทั้งคนอ่าน …. ส่วนคุณปิ่น สำหรับเราเกือบแตะขอบที่จะนึกรำคาญในบางจุด ต้องให้เครดิตผู้เขียนที่ใส่มาแบบถึงขอบพอดิบพอดีเลย ยังชวนรักชวนเอ็นดูไม่ข้ามไปรำคาญ
เค้าจีบกันหวานหยดเลยด้วย อนิลกับคุณปิ่นเนี่ย ตั้งแต่แบบใสๆ สมัยเด็ก ไปจนถึงแบบ เอ่อ… โตแล้ว ไม่ใสแล้ว ชวนเขินแทน เป็นแบบที่ถ้าใครชอบกินของหวานก็จะหวานจนสาแก่ใจอีปริกกันไปเลยทีเดียว แต่ถ้าใครไม่ชอบ …. ก็นั้นล่ะค่ะ อันนี้ขนมหวาน
โดยภาพรวมแล้ว เป็นโรแมนติก-ดราม่า-พีเรียด ที่มีเนื้อโรแมนซ์เป็นหลัก ไม่พลิกแพลง ไม่ได้ตั้งคำถาม ไม่ได้ท้าทายขนบอะไรมากนัก แต่เขียนดี อ่านเพลิน อยากฟินได้ฟิน ถ้าชอบแนวนี้อย่าเริ่มต้นอ่านเรื่องนี้ตอนดึก เดี๋ยวจะยาวไม่ได้นอน

Princess Anilapat Siewtaravit and Princess Pilanthida Kasidit, two royal girls in the Siewtaravit Palace, have known each other since childhood. Despite the fact that Princess Anilapat is more noble and holds a particular position in everyone’s affection in the palace, they appear to be very special to each other throughout their lives. Meanwhile, Princess Pinn is living with her as a pious descendant.
Anil is an attractive kind-hearted, good-natured child with a pleasant appearance. She’s cool. Pinn, on the other hand (who is undeniably lovely), is a modest woman who sheds cries often. Both had been this way since they were children.
The novel’s initial episodes occur due to their separation due to Anil’s need to study overseas. When she returns, their relationship experiences some minor squabbles. It inevitably comes to the issue of right and wrong, especially when noble and sacred matters are at stake.
To describe the flavor, Pinnphak is similar to a Thai dessert, delicious to eat and a little salty due to Pinn’s tears (from the beginning to the finish of the book, Pinn sheds almost 20 liters of tears I guess > < ).
The historical setting (believed to be during Thailand’s 7th or 8th reign) is used to highlight the story’s beauty. Princess Anil is a character created to be the “Princess Charming” in every way, beloved by everyone in the novel as well as the readers. Pinn, on the other hand, is a character we may find aggravating at times, and credit must be given to the writer for portraying her so accurately. She generates both admiration and annoyance.
From their naive upbringing to their more mature adulthood, their courtship is beautiful. It’s sweet enough to satisfy individuals who appreciate sweet foods. However, if you dislike sweetness, this may not be for you. This is a tasty treat.
Overall, it’s a romantic drama with a strong romantic theme, but there’s no drama or severe conflict. It’s well-written and entertaining. If you like this genre, don’t start reading it late at night; you might wind yourself staying up all night.”
